I started coaching in California in 1978 to 1985, Starting with elementary school athletes and Junior High athletes, and then with the High School athletes.
1986 to 1989 I coached track at Billings Central High School.
1990 I coached Track at Big Timber High School
In 1991 I started Billings 1st USATF Youth Track Club
I have been working with the Youth in TAC/ USA Track & Field SINCE 1991, for the last 20 years.

AT LARGE REPRESENTATIVE; 4 YEARS
WEST ZONAL REPRESENTATIVE; 6 YEARS ( currently on National Youth Board)
I am currently a CERTIFIED USA Track and Field LEVEL 2 YOUTH SPECIALIZATION COACH, The USATF Coaching Education Level 2-Youth Specialization program is designed to address the needs of coaches who want an advanced course of coaching the youth athlete to their full potential. The Level 2 Youth Specialization program covered advanced sport science curriculum in four broad event areas with special attention given to the unique methodology needed to supervise the developing young athlete. I have been trained in the areas of growth and development, nutrition, training theory, sport psychology, and event specific sport science for the youth athlete.
allowing me to coach our athletes as they do our USATF Elite and Olympic athletes.
I have been coaching track and field for over 30 years, for juniors highs, high schools and Youth Track Club. At present I am the Head Coach and President of a Local Billings, Mt Youth Track Club, Rocky Mountain Flying Panthers, athlete ranging in ages from 6 to 23, elementary, Junior High, High School, and College athletes.
I was a USATF LEVEL 1 COACH from 1992 to 2010
I was the HEAD MANAGER for the IAAF WORLD YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIPS in 2005 in Marrakesh, Morocco
I was an ASSISTANT MANAGER/ ASSISTANT COACH for the  IAAF WORLD YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIPS in 2003, in Sherbrook, Canada
I AM USATF MASTER OFFICIAL.
I AM THE WEST ZONE REPRESENTATIVE.
I HAVE BEEN A LOCAL MEET DIRECTOR, as well as REGIONAL MEET DIRECTOR for USATF Track and Field and USATF CROSS COUNTRY in the Montana Association.
I am the COMMUNICATION CHAIR for MONTANA at Present.
I was VICE PRESIDENT of the MONTANA ASSOCIATION 4 YEARS.
I was the BIG SKY STATE GAMES COMMISIONER for Track and Field, 3 YEARS.
I was on the YOUTH ATHLETICS SUBCOMMITTEE for WOMENâS DEVELOPMENT.
I am on the SUBCOMMITTEE for CULTURAL EXCHANGE for USATF YOUTH DIVISION
I WAS ON THE SITE EVALUATION COMMITTEE for bids for track and field and cross country for the USATF YOUTH DIVISION, Junior Olympic Meets and Youth Outdoor Championships, 2003 til 2010
1991 to 2011 I HAVE WORKED ALL THE USATF JUNIOR OLYMPIC NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS.
SINCE 1992 to 2010 I HAVE WORKED ALL THE USATF YOUTH OUTDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS and USATF CROSS COUNTRY NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS, (except 1).
1995 to 2011 YEARS I was the USATF YOUTH DIVISIONâS HIPPING TENT COORDINATOOR at ALL of the ABOVE MEETS.
In 2004 I was presented with the Youth Committee FRANK SEVIGNE AWARD, for my SERVICE and DEDICATION to Youth Athletics in USA TRACK and FIELD
In 2008 I received the prestigious USA TRACK and FIELD PRESIDENT'S AWARD, for my achievements and dedication have been an inspiration to the members of the USATF organization, and my efforts and leadership having played a vital role in the fruition of USA Track and Field's purposes and programs.
